Find the exact value of the volume of a can of oil with a diameter 10 centimeters and height of 14 centimeters. Include correct units with your solution. Use "pi" in place of the pi symbol.

Volume of a cylinder = (pi)(r²)(h)

Radius is half of the diameter
- if the diameter is 10, then the radius is 5

V = (pi)(r²)(h) {formula for volume of a cylinder}
= (pi)(5²)(14) {substituted given information into formula}
= pi(25)(14) {squared the 5 to get 25}
= 350(pi)cm³ {multiplied 25 by 14 and left π as "pi" throughout the problem, volume is cubed}
