graphing linear equations

I need to find the slopes to graph plz help....



6x+5y=30

Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b
m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

6x+5y=30
5y = -6x + 30 {subtracted 6x from both sides}
y = (-6/5)x + 6 {divided both sides by 5 to get into slope-intercept form}
slope = -6/5
y-intercept = 6

To graph:
- put a point on 6 on the y-axis {that is the y-intercept}
- from there, go down 6 and to the right five and put another point
{since slope means rise over run, the rise is -6 and the run is +5}
- draw a line through the two points
