Perpendicular to 3x + 3y = 3 with a y-intercept of 6.

Get in slope-intercept form, y = mx + b
3x + 3y = 3
3y = -3x + 3   subtracted 3x
y = -x + 1   divided by 3
slope = -1

Perpendicular lines have slopes which are negative reciprocals.

perpendicular slope is 1

slope = 1, y-intercept = 6

y = x + 6 is the equation of the line
